Job Description Sign-On or Relocation Bonus Available ENSCO Avionics, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test and integrate software for a hybrid control systems in vehicle applications. This is a true hands on position with the Software Engineer working interactively with highly skilled Vehicle System Engineers and vehicle integration teams. Software is written in C/C+
at the embedded level on Vehicle Systems control boxes. Vehicle systems testing is often performed on vehicle with automated testing being performed on software test stands with Python Scripts. Individual will be on a team developing control laws to manage and monitor power to energy storage systems, implemented in MATLAB and/or C code, and performing unit and system level testing. Candidate will also apply safety critical software development principles. Qualifications Required (Skills) Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent with a minimum 2 years of experience Must Be a U.S. Citizen Experience with C code development Experience with Python scripting Experience with Software Requirements and System level software test plans Technical writing skills to produce engineering documentation artifacts. Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleagues Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Security Clearance is required for this position, for which, you must be a U.S. Citizen. Qualifications Desired Experience with System level design Experience with MATLAB control law development Experience with working with high power/high voltage systems; Experience with Communications systems such as CAN Experience with CM Systems such as Razor or Synergy Understanding of CAN J1939 SAE Standards. Familiar with On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) Regulations
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
