We specialize in the revitalization of formerly blighted industrial properties and warehouses, as well as built-to-suit and ground-up construction of new facilities.
We are currently seeking to add a Campus Director to our team in Endicott, NY.
The Campus Director role will oversee and be responsible for leading multiple cross-functional teams related to safety, general maintenance, facilities, construction projects, structuring organization personnel, campus financials, property management, and leasing efforts.
The Director will provide oversight and evaluations of the central utility plant and multiple buildings spread across the campus.
Experience leading teams on large-scale industrial projects, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and experience managing large facilities is preferred.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Daily Management:
- Evaluate the capabilities of staff within the departments to identify gaps and prioritize development activities.
- Host interviews and select, coach, inspire, motivate, and develop a team while setting objectives that align with company strategy.
- Design and implement processes by which team and individual performance are recognized and feedback is consistently delivered; develop and maintain a culture of integrity, quality, and superior performance.
- Manage meetings with leasing, facilities, property management, and engineering to ensure project tasks and schedules are being communicated effectively and holding team members accountable.
Construction Projects:
- Oversee large-scale construction projects to drive improvements and meet key milestones on scheduling, budgeting, and resources.
- Enforce corrective actions when necessary.
- Communicate with key stakeholders.
Facilities & General Maintenance:
- Assess and prioritize facility projects; verify the correct resources, capital, and redundancy are allocated to complete said project and provide reliable utilities.
- Design facility preventive maintenance programs with a process to ensure compliance.
- Host maintenance meetings for providing direction and scheduling of maintenance technician tasks.
Property Management:
- Verify tenant improvements and repairs are tracked and completed in a timely manner.
- Track and allocate appropriate resources for general campus cleanliness and functionality.
- Perform as an on-site representative for Phoenix HQ.
Leasing:
- Assist Phoenix HQ leasing team in hosting potential tenant walk-throughs and gathering information as needed.
Qualifications &
Experience:
- 5 years' experience in a leadership role with direct reports - Experience in adaptive re-use of commercial industrial buildings - Experience with commercial/industrial construction projects, facilities, and maintenance Compensation &
