Consol's Family Kitchen Consol's Family Kitchen Endicott, NY Endicott, NY Part-time Part-time $10 an hour $10 an hour 22 hours ago 22 hours ago 22 hours ago Duties - Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently - Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu - Upsell additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks - Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner - Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their dining experience - Process payments and handle cash transactions - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area Requirements - Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations - Ability to upsell and promote menu items to enhance the guest experience - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus - Knowledge of food handling safety guidelines - Basic math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing - Proficient in cash handling procedures Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
